DDT was doing the marketing for Opie, but Opie has since started his own site and is selling them through it. I tried to buy the pump through DDT but he was impossible to get a hold of, that's how I ended up with the pump from Rich. Would have rather bought the real one but had to have one to get the truck rollin again and time wasn't allowing me to wait for the other.
Do you have Opies web address.

You have seen a better design some time back, you mentioned it on dtr over a year ago? Nothing has yet come out so I just consider the source.
Any updates, What kind of cam are you talking about, is this very expensive, or hard to do? Is there no way to make proper fuel past 500 HP still? What is the better design, and have you updated your design? I have a 2002 HO, I want to put 150hp injectors, I have a Quadzilla Adrenaline, and I plan to have twin turbo's down the road. I have read that the HO's will not flow enough fuel to go past the 500hp mark. Some day way down the line I may consider a P-Pump conversion, will your pump still work with that?

They are not as limited as most are led to believe. IIRC they are rated at 45gpm. You would have to state exactly how "well over 500hp" you are talking about, because many P-pumped trucks have proven over 500hp with the stock pump.

Having said that, I like the Mitusa and will go that route with my '07 if and when it becomes an issue. Mechanical pumps are a no-brainer for anyone really serious about their fueling.

My 1st Gen will retain the mechanical piston pump running off the cam as Cummins intended for the ultimate in simplicity and reliability, supporting more power potential than I will ever need to worry about with that truck.
