Already did, bought a set for my wife's van. Yes I'd buy another set too. Totally worth it. I've had them in for almost 2 years now still working great.

im running a ~$200 HID kit off ebay in aftermarket housings (ebay also). i ran the stock bulbs in the aftermarket housings with the higher wattage harness from LMC, were nice and bright. then i went to the HIDs, removed the harness, and use them in the aftermarket housings.

the aftermarket housings i have are a PITA to adjust. i am lazy. thus i get flashed a lot, though do not feel any guilt here in southern CA, when about 75% of the vehicles on the road here have HIDs, and for ages I was the victim in getting blinded.

as far as light production and whatnot, this setup tops the stock assembly/bulb, aftermarket assembly/harness/stock bulbs-silverstar/whatever. just my $.02 from my personal experience with a few different headlight setups on my truck over the couple years I have owned it.

any questions/clarifications, feel free to ask.

i am in need of buying a new set of housings, my driverside is brand new, but a cheap $30 ebay one that the previous owner had me install, but it has like a floater in it that projects a small beam right in to the eyes of an on coming car. thats beside the point. what housings would u guys recommend?

I have a factory 00-02 sport headlight assembly coming tomorrow afternoon for the driverside to see how i would have to fabricate it to work.

if these fit semi-easily, ill order the other side. And i would want to do an HID conversion to both hi and lo beams.

or i was thinking Tangier Light Xenon HID conversion kit, www.tangierlight.com they have true bi-xenon bulbs with 2 tubes per bulb that fit the factory housings, no cutting for 199 for a set.

thanks
Cody

Not true. There are plenty of 12V and 24V 'aircraft' lights, which are typically just a GE lens. Which means you can get the non-FAA approved/PMA light with a different part number for a LOT cheaper. With a PMA'd 'aircraft' light you have to pay the markup cost for the FAA engineer's rubber stamp.

Who doesn't need 400 Watt landing lights on their front bumper?!?!?!
