till you check out what everyone has said to test there isn't much that can be done. even if your pump is not tapped well it should be making over what you have my setup made 244 to the rears and you have 110hp more worth of injectors than I do. So I say your injection pump is doing you in. With the box off you should be making atleast 325 to the rears.

In order to get the benefits of the larger injectors you going to need the Timing of the Comp with the Pump Tapped. I believe even with a weak pump you should be making more that 275hp with your other mods.

whose injectors are you running? What are the sub levels on your comp set at? You should be running quite a bit higher than that, as in the 450 range with your mods. If your truck has never had issues with fuel pressure then any pump issues you have shouldn't be manifesting themselves in that manor. They should be electrical issues with dead pedal etc... not the housing around the fuel solenoid wearing out and not reaching full advance. I know some people that have had issues with their edge boxes going bad as well, so you may want to take it off and send it to edge to have them test it.

not fully true, my buddy's truck that did the same thing had a fass on it and was easily getting 18psi constantly, he truck had 65000 on it when it put it on, it had a 150k on it when went out. pumps can wear out even with good fuel pressure. ive seen others wear out with good fuel pressure as well, low pressure just speeds up the death of the VP44, but if there is one thing you can bet on, its the fact that if you have a 24 valve cummins with the VP44, the pump is going to die eventually, nothing you do can stop it, who knows, it could die at 10k miles or 300k miles but itll die

True enough, I just haven't heard of that many pumps with sufficient pressure dying in that fashion, usually its the electronics that get them, not the the fuel end of it. Or burrs on the rotor causing seizure on the earlier models.
