275 hp/625 torque..truk sucks..disappointed again
is the super b killing my top end or am i still missing something. i have NO boost leaks..i have checked it over and over. good fuel press. drag comp tap definitely works. egt's never got over 1000. boost never got over 35...
that run was with the smarty on sw 6 and the comp on 5x5. btw..the comp smarty stack was w/in 1 hp of each other compared to running it w/out the smarty.
what else is there to look into..timing issues?? injector pump timing?
something is keeping this truk from its potential and im havin alotta grief tryin to find it....a 16.0 at 82 mph wasnt a very happy day either....all in all the truk and its perf upgrades have been a huge disappointment and alotta wasted time and money......

Has anyone just tried the edge to see what it would put down?
I sure seems to me like my truck put that much power down with just the Edge/Attitude.
I never put it on the dyno,but it pulled good.
You should be getting more the 35psi on the boost I'm thinking,I make that much with just 275s/edge "boost elbow" stock HX35,there is something wrong.
Do you have any codes?

pump tap isn't right or the wastegate is opening. I'm thinkin your pump tap because you should be seeing higher temps than 1000*. Although I should ask if that is post turbo or pre turbo?
If your absolutely sure the two above are good CHECK THEM AGAIN! If your fuel pressure is good then I'd start looking for an IP or something is funky with your tranny.

id check the tap on the pump wire again, then check the MAP sensor and clean it or replace it, check wastegate opening PSI, if all that looks okay, id start looking at the VP44. My buddy josh had a tst powermax comp box and was only making 260 hp on the dyno with that thing turned all the way up, we spent all day and TST trying to figure out what was causing it, we threw everything at the truck never got any better, the next weekend josh bought a new VP44, SO, and we put it on and tried dynoing again, he hit over 350hp at the rear wheels and did so at schieds as well. We never thought the VP would be dying, hes running a fass 180 gph system and fuel pressure was 21 at idle and 16 at WOT, just a tired out VP44. give it a shot.

smokes like a train..rolls til it cleans up round 20 psi. makes good fuel press...never below 10 psi.
i did a run wiht the smarty and with just te comp and it was almost the same as them being stacked...i know the tap is good..i can drive the truk and turn it off and on and it makes a huge diff.....
its down to either the wastegate lkg by or the vp is dying..its got 100 grand on it and it runs good..really drives nice..but it just doesent pull the numbers

It's tough to say but by looking at that video it just doesn't seem to be getting the fuel. It blew some smoke but cleared pretty quick. I know a good turbo will clean it up but I also know with enough fuel you will blow a lot more smoke than you did in that video with your setup. At least that's my thought
