I just hate purchasing from a non sponsor. No other sponsor will warrenty a tapped pump besides another 1600 dollar blue chip.

Does anyone know the truth about the computer sitting on top of these things? Blue Chip said other companies only replace them if they have to.

Stealthplate is just, what it says, stealth... for warrantyreasons. It´s not the safest way connect the tap, but it´s better than the POS Scotchloks and similar. Best way to make the connection if you don´t have a very expensive crimpingtool is soldering... not very stealth, but makes for a good connection if done properly....

Any old screw will work. Don't remember the size, I had the same issue when I did mine. I had to take mine to a machine shop to get one out. I just put regular allen head screws in mine.

Just make sure you get the right thread - you dont want to strip it. Sorry I cant tell you what it is - I have yet to have the pleasure of replacing my VP-44.

Ok so I finished installing my plastic cover on the vp44 that I got from Blue Chip and after I finished installing it when to turn it on and had the engine light on and I did the key thing to pull up the codes and I got this P0122 and P1693 and after that I turn the truck on and the light went out took it for a quick spin and it drove good as normal the light stayed off.Should I check something? By the way I did made sure the apps sensor was connected. Here are some pics .
