I have a 95 ranger 2 wheel drive. I want to put a 5.9 24 valve cummins in it? with the the NV-4500 transmission?? is this possible or am i dreaming? Could someone give me a breakdown of what all it would take or how much work this is? thanks

 

I think you would be better off trying to stuff a 4BT in there, over the 6BT. I have seen a 4BT in a ranger, but not a 6BT.

 

 

I've seen it in a diesel mag. They had to extend the front end like a foot or so, looked really clean. Had a twin set up in it where the small turbo was in the engine bay and the big turbo was in the bed. Kinda funky set up but still cool. Don't remember what trans it had in it was. Anything is possible tho. Good luck
