Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauge???
I have been looking into a fuel gauge for the truck in my sig. but i dont have $230 to speend on a gauge. Iv been looking at some mechanical gauges but some people say not to keep them hooked up permanently. Why not???
I have a mechanical fuel pressure gauge on my truck and have it hooked up al the time, I cant figure out how to keep the anti freeze in the tubing from the isolater but its perfectly safe to keep it hooked up. I have the issopro gauges got the whole set for less than 300$ egt, boost and fuel. The one that you shouldn't keep hooked up all the time is the fuel psi test gauge that most people buy and hook into the stock fuel line just to test the pressure then remove.
i have a mr. gasket 0-15 mech. gauge, paid $10 for it new. went to the hydrolic shop and made a T and spliced it into my supply line. prob a total of $30 in the whole gauge and custom mounted in my dash.
