Default Turbo Question

I'm looking to possibly upgrade my turbo? I belive I have a HY-35,not sure which way to go to get a little more power from this.Should I get a programmer or just injectors???? would the HX-35 be enough by itself with no injector change? Any input is appreciated, Thanks

2001 Ram 2500 4WD,4.10'sFass lift pump,ATS Copilot,Glowshift gauges.K&NColdair,Bigger boost elbow, Gearvendor overdrive,(now in!) custom lock up & overdrive control switches, 4in exhaust,all new guides&exhaust valves,plained , ARP head studs, someday programer or RV275 injectors

A HX35 is a mild increase in performance compared to the HY35. It does give you the option of making a HX35/40 hybrid though, which isn't a bad turbo.

Since you don't have injectors or programmer yet, a hx35 or a hx40 would be as big as I'd go.

62 would be a lil laggy with just stock fueling. Add a set of 100-125hp injectors to a 62 would be a good starting set up

i went with th 351 vgt turbo it cost me about 900 dollars before selling old parts and when my truck is on stock its a great spool and it pumps about 35 psi on stock. when i tuen up he programer and lett it go i get super spool up and i can build 60 psi. the turbo will not only cover you now with little mods but it will be good for heavyer injectors and a programer in the future.
if you want to just o to hx35 i have one for sale in the for sale section for $150 it was a great turbo i just put the vgt on in its place. here is my add --> https://www.dieselbombers.com/sale/102096-hx-35-a.html
