My trucks supposed to have arp studs in it but they look stock someone told me today..i boughtt the truck with all this stuff on it i was told by the guy i bought it from,,,ithe guy i bought it from gave me the number to the shop that did the work to it and i called them they told me arp made head bolts at one time..does anyone knw if this is true?? On the top of the bolt i can see it says /// 12.9. Can anyone help me ? Those are the head bolts on the out side of the valve cover right?

Your thinking is correct, those are not studs.

The row of bolts beside the rocker cover are some of your head bolts. If you had studs, you would see this style:

Cause like i said i well emailed the shop that did it to ask and their words we're arp made ones like that and that their high tensil steal??? Whats that sound like to you??? this is the shop that did it....manjinmechanics.com. Check it out it was their shop truck

Also the 12.9 you see on the bolt is the grade of the bolt.

12.9 is the stock grade bolts used from the factory, It is however a very strong bolt.

Maybe ur rite you would prolly pull me down......it sure goes good tho for the size of truck it flys and'll burn rudder to no end its nuts.....im going to get it looked at tomoro...
