Ford vs dodge vs chevy

Not all of them. Just like not all of your 6 oh no's have them. Seeing a modified 12v keep up with a newer truck is impressive let alone beat it. Remember a 12v starts at 125hp and even if its a 98 its still 14 years old. Dont be such a smart a$$. Oh and just kinda like you told me once, my 6.7 had 140K miles and no issues.

My dad has had 3 6.7 cummins and he puts 40,000 miles a year on his trucks. Our construction company still owns the older 2 plus another 2009 6.7. No problems or blown head gaskets on any of them. Not sure what you're talking about.

The VGT on the 6.7 creates high drive pressures. Too much fuel and too much boost can lead to head gasket failure. My 6.7 had 140K miles and never had an issue. Fully deleted with H&S Mini Maxx.

Ive owned 2-7.3 strokes,1-6.0,2- 6.6 d max,and now on my 2nd 5.9 cummins.Never had the 1st bit of problems out of either of my 7.3s,got rid of my 6.0 with only 11k miles so I guess you could say I never gave it a chance to show its ***.But it was in a 4x4 E350 van and i must say it was fast as hell with no more than a superchips programmer,My first d-max developed a rod knock at 102k,My 2nd d-max was purchased with just over 200k and pretty quick with a tripple dog and 5" straight pipe and intake. But,always had a noise i didnt like and only kept 6 months/10k miles. The 24 valve I have now has plenty of power and has no problem keeping up with pretty much anything on the road with what you see in my sig.....But the one I miss most of all by far was my 05 CC SB common rail. All that was done to that truck was a bully dog power pup, intake and 4 1/2" exhaust and there wasnt a damn thing on the road that could touch it...My X-wife even chewed up an 05ish mustang that the owner thought was untouchable and laughed at me in the store when I told him that the blonde in the dodge on 38"s said she could beat him......should have seen his face after he followed us down the road to catch a light....poor guy never stood a chance......Common rail all the way!Too bad times got tight enough that I gave my truck back to the bank so she could keep our deisel Excursion on 38"s that she ended up getting as a parting gift!.....oh well,at least the 99 that I have now didnt come with a payment book.

yeah after reading all of this i thing the common rail 5.9 is going to be my next ruck im thinking the last possible year wiht a auto in it. is the dodge auto any good by the last year of the 5.9? to bad ford cant just buy a cummins contract.
if ford had cummins it would be a market hey day! fords tranny and truck with the reliable and low rpm power of a cummins.
