Thanks guys. SO basically what I take from all this is If I get my fuel line tapped somewhere. preferably close to the IP I can directly screw in the sending unit with the correct fittings, and then wires up to the guages. So I don't need a isolator, I believe I am going to just try to sell my mechanical isspro fuel pressure guage and get an electric guage.

 

Yea you can go that route if you want. The rubber fuel line between the IP and bottom of the fuel filter housing acts as a buffer for vibration. Not as much as an 18" grease gun hose though.

 

My truck will have the airdog setup when I get all this hooked up. So I'm thinking T into the fuel line run another piece of fuel line up and out of the way. Then hook all the sending unit up and such.

Yeah I was aware of that, but I'm thinking the closer I get a reading to the IP the better I should be able to monitor my Fuel P. Thats my thought or am I just over thinking it?

 

ur right generally u want to measure closer. after my raptor failed after a week i wouldn't monitor pressure at the pump personally. glad i wasnt. i monitor after the fuel filter so i can tell when it is getting clogged and its time to change it.
