When we finally got fed up with our cummins motors running like chit we had one of the cummins mechanics come out to our drill to figure out the problem.

While he was out there he replaced the injectors and pump (which is almost a bi-monthly thing...) and he had a little slide hammer type setup to pull the injectors. It was basically just a plain old screwdriver with a nut on the end of it that threaded onto the injector, then it had a little slide weight on the shaft... couple little yanks on the slide weight and the things popped right out!
