Bacon, I appreciate the concern, I didn't see the 2 comments you're referring too but Im not too worried about it. Im just sharing whats up with my truck with anyone interested.
and if yall don't like it before you definitely wont like it now that its competition orange! (Actually I dont know how I feel about the orange myself...but I did tuck it in closer to the truck)
My reasoning goes, I wanted to go UP with the exhaust somehow to keep the side of my gooseneck from being perpetually black. I think bed stacks are incredibly ghey and for people who don't use their bed and therefore really don't need to own a pickup. I haul alot, everything from construction supplies, hay and grain to dirt and gravel, Im not about to reduce my bed space one inch. I was originally planning a hoodstack but figured I had the pipe, might as well try something new. The turnout keeps the side clean and the smoke out of the cab even with the window down. I wasn't too sure about the fender stack but now that it is tucked in more it is growing on me..plus everywhere I go I always have at least 2 or 3 people stop me to tell me they love the stack. So far so good with the cops too, even had a sheriff thumbs up it today!

Looks fine on gassers but there is a guy running a flush cut like that out the bed of his powerstroke around here and he always has a massive soot mark down the side, other than that downside I like the idea. Or maybe miter cut it a few inches out of the fender, with a backwards tilt fighter plane style?
