i just broke another tranny nv4500 anybody have any ideas on a good upgrade planing on a 15 speed in about 2 years but that will be a frame up build on a 4 door chevy some guys say a 5600 will work but what about a 7 speed out of a 5 ton or a six from behind a 3208 anybody ever done this or seen one

 

Keep your eyes open for the cummins 5.9 powered Ford F600-800. they had a nice 7 speed. If you could get one I don't think it would die easy, and fun to drive.

 

Or get a nv4500 and don't drive it like a retard doing 5th gear drops....

 

Yea these NVs dont like being slammed in and out of gears

 

i'm paying for it and doing the work i'll drive it any way i want

 

I guess the economy can use the stimulation.
