Default got 7-800 to spend on the truck....what to get??

ive got some money burning a hole in my pocket and i cant decide what to buy for the truck. its all stock right now and my goal will be around 400hp when all done. im thinking single disk revmax converter and valvebody or shift kit, or gauges intake and exhaust, or level it with 35s. what do you guys think? feel free to make other suggestions. thanks

Gauges are a must before doing too many mods. Intake and exhaust would be a good place to start IMO. Also, it's going to cost a more than 7-800 to get your trans up to snuff before getting too far into it.

gauges, and exhaust

make your own intake with a big *** filter

pull your fuel plate out, add some timing and smoke your trans......when they replace it throw in a good converter

yup you'l be fine. Call Dave G. transmissions in IA and tell him that you have a new stock rebuild and you want it to last. I'd buy a converter from him jsut for the service and the product is amazing. I really miss mine and am saving for one in my 2005.

400 is not all that hard in a 12v you can get close for amost free.

when you say save what i got left for a trans....do you mean save for a whole new one or for a converter and vb for this one? cause it seems like if i did a plate, gsk and timing i would smoke this one in no time
