this completely skiped my mind, i had a buddy helping me and instead of taking just the DV holder off he took the whole deal that goes into the pump off. You guys think that has to do with it missing and not idleing now?

yeah... you now need to pull your injector pump off and have a pump shop balance your pump. if anything happened in the shimming it'll affect your beginning of injection (late ignition, early ignition), the barrel was spun it'll cause un-even fueling. think of it on the positive side; atleast when you re-assemble the truck you can advance the pump timing some.

now if you wanna do it in a sketchy manner; you can try to rotate the barrel to match the old marks. but if you changed the shimming under the barrel the "old marks" arent going to matter
