best hauling set up

alot of the mods that have been thrown at you are good but what conditions is the truck goin to be used under flat land or hills decent roads or a log trail. ive got a 96 that we use around here. the first thing we did was straight pipe it put a engine brake on it and a marine air filter all told it cost about 1500 bucks but did improve the ability of the truck to slow down. also while im on a roll ranting look at your trailer. how good are the tires and brakes on that. they will go a long ways in determining weather you get slowed down for that curve you forgot about or going out threw the jingle weeds and messin your day up
