Default timing with 370's

right now im at 16* of timing and im bumping it up this week a buddy reccomended bumping it up to as much as 24* 1/8mile im at a 9.1@73 but top end i have almost no power and finish the quarter 14.5@89 it is my dd but was wondering if 24* is safe with keeping the spray pattern in the bowl? when i installed the injectors i did put the extremely thin washers in there too so the nose is down in there a bit
