any way to prime the oil pump on my old 91 ?

Gear any way to prime the oil pump on my old 91 ?

I m doing a cummins conversion and the motor has been sitting for almost a year. and i m getting close to bring it back to life is there any way to prime to oil pump befor i start her up

if your workin on a 91 you will prob be better served in the future by posting in the first gen section. but as for your question there are several 1/8" pipe thread oil pressure ports on the engine including one on the oil filter housing right beside the turbo feed line. i have a small tank i hook to that port and fill with oil and then pressurize with air to push the oil into the engine. before i made the tank i used a new grease gun that the back end of the tube could be screwed off and used it on that port. fill it up and start pumping. works great just takes a little longer.
