send it to the manufacturer and have it rebuilt. my uncle sent a 93 model f250 clutch in got it rebuilt for 50 bucks

Pretty sure he would if he could... Said in the first post he doesn't know who made it.

Good news guys. i had my brother look at the clutch and everything is in supposedly really good shape. it looks like the flywheel is really worn but the dip in it is for on of the discs. the pictures are pretty bad and dont show the shape its really in. My brother who is a diesel tech at the sno country ford and says this things at like 75% or more life left i got a total steal.

Thank you angelico i really disliked jst about everything about that truck.

I wish my southbend could be rebuilt for $50. It doesn't need it, but I asked them what they charge, and they want $750 to rebuild it. They don't care how far gone it is, same price regardless. I guess if I ever wear it out I better drive it until it won't move under it's own power anymore to get my money's worth!

Huh... i know nothing about them. are their clutches any good? its not like my truck has a ton of power but its good to know. thanks for the info though...
