Default housing swap question

Would you be able to put a hx-35 exhaust housing on a hx-40? The spool time is killing me

what housing is on your 40? you could put a 12 or 14 on there but your would need to find the exhaust turbine out of a 35, if you have an 18 or bigger housing you could find a 16cm that will go right on but those still spool slow

the way i got my 40 that i have is i found the whole hx40w sitting on the ground at the shop with no exhausting housing on it, so i took it all apart and put the exhaust turbine and 12cm housing off my burned up 35 on it and it worked great, i then bought the 14cm housing off a guy and put it on, whole turbo only cost me 100bux out of pocket

The housing will need to be machined for it to work.
