Default Confusion...

Ok it may just be somthing simple im forgetting but i just cant think straight right now. I have can a little shaved plate for the whole time my truck has been turned up, it ran good. Well i got a case of D***idous and decided to pull the plate. I pulled it and things make no since. Boost is lower, power is lower, smoke clears up instantly after any boost is built. So i decided to shave my plate just a hair more than it was. I tore it back down and put the plate back in... trucks runs like it used to. Normal boost numbers as far as what it used to run goes, same smoke and power is back? Can some one tell me what i did wrong? Im not new to this stuff but it has me confused. Any help would be appreciated.

It made absolutely no since to me... It makes no since because all i did was take the plate out, and to fix it all i did was put it back in.

Maybe look at your afc for the take of and if you have a stock turbo the added fuel will buil boost quicker so the but have a lot of back pressure. So you won't get full spool untill way later. That the ony thing I could think of
