head studs ?

Why do you say no bottom tap needed? From what I understand, the whole reason for using the tap is to clean out the threads and not every hole is completely tapped from the factory, so you could have some studs threaded in further than others, creating a "weak" point. This ensures every hole is completely threaded allow for maxium engagement of the studs.

im not changing my gasket im just putting studs my head isnt bad i just dont want to streach the stock studs

by saying that i was referring to the fact that you do not need to cut new threads just clean the old ones and using the ARP's I have never had a hole where I had to make more threads in the hole

Gotcha. I think tapping is just to make sure the all the studs have the maximum amount of contact with the block. I've only done studs on my 12v and I tapped it so I'm iffy the pros and cons, but I'd like to see the differences between one that had not been bottom tapped and one that has been.

they dont have to be tapped alot of guys throw them in withought removing the head

you can put them in without bottom tapping the holes, but its not the right way to do it
