i gotta another question. as my signature says i also own a powerstroke. today a guy called and he has a 01 dmax regular cab 4x4 6spd. 150 hp injectors, efi live, ppe hot plus 2, turbo,DD clutch, wheels, and a few more mods. He is wantin to trade me even.. But i dont know anything much about a duramax. would you think that would make a pretty good trade up? or should i stick with the stroker? I know this is a 12v forum and all and trust me i love my 12v but im clueless here

im sorry i shoulda been more clear. He runs efi live on it now. But with the trade i Get the PPE hot+2. idk nuttin bout dmaxs. all ive ever had is cummins. and one stroker. he says that this dmax is tough!!!! He claimes it would run with mi 12v if that is true im gonna trade. Then we'll put the 12v in the shop and go crazy with the internals and might trow som spray to her haha hmmm tripletes? o yuh 3 turbos would be so bad hahaha But i go look at it this afternoon to see. ill let everyone know

 

well guys the duramax was a joke!!!! The poor thing leaked oil like it was pissin. It had a light rod knock. The rear end popped under heavy acceleration. Plus The tranny whined like a wild banshee. And over all for efi live and 150s and all the other mods it really didnt empress me wat so ever. My old 12v would walk all over it, with my 40 ft cherokee trailer and 6 horses in it. But gonna sale the stoker straight out!!! 06 commonrail 3500 4x4 6spd regular cab flatbed here i come!!! shes gonna be a pony hauler from helll
