help!!!!!!!! turbos!!!!!!

Default help!!!!!!!! turbos!!!!!!

heyy everyone im havin turbo trouble. i bought mi 97 8 months ago it still had the stock exhaust.. thts how babied it was. i went and put exhaust on it 5inch to 8 inch tip. then had the pump timed delivery valves governer springs put in. jus with the stock turbo mi baby was runnin awsome i was stompin heavly modifed trucks. wen the first turbo went bye bye i didnt think of nothin i jus bought a hx40w2 gauges etc. i drove it for almost a month with the hx40w2= 64mm i think? before i put injectors in it.i went with 125hp at first the stepped up to 150s. but exactly 2 days after the 125s the hx40w2 blew. yuh with out injectors it would bark alot wen i got on it but i still spooled it fine was buildin 45lbs with it. so i had a turbo layin in the shop it was offa auto of course smaller then normal stock 12v. i limped it around till i got mi 66 quick spool. i blew the stoker for fun then was pullin mi horse trailer and the 66 went mi egts were not high or nttin. so i went all out and went for a compund settup a holset turbos i got a 66 pushin a 86 of course i had to build mine a lil more to spool them i went with 5x18 dragon flow street pullin cam head worked 4k gov springs had mi pump calibrated for 550cc of fuel ats intake snow performance water meth 60lbs valve springs south bend double disk traction bars and more!!! today i jus blew mi top charger the 66?? i was not really gettin on it jus around 25 lbs of boost she shut down at first i thought i had sucked mi air filter together again so i pulled over and pulled the filter off and coverd the tube with a sock to limp it to town. but i was still not gettin any boost wat am i doin wrong??? do i need to go bigger then a 66? or wat?? im lost now first time ever i dnt really get on it unless someone messes with me. help pleasse i have a 71 mm single set up ima run and have mi pump recalibrated for it and see wat it does..... but if anyone has any ideas please let me know!!! Kentucky coal rollers!!!!!!

what?

have you checked to make sure you have good oil press to the turbo? did you brake them in or did you just throw them on and stomp on it?

when you say blew up what do you mean? locked them up or sent the wheels flying?

that whole paragraph was possibly the most confusing thing ever. brand new turbos cant be pushed to there limits right off the bat. and they should always be filled with oil when first put on the truck. you could be overspinning them. wastegating correctly is important.

i think im as confused as everyone and yes make sure your priming them that could be an issue

sorry about the confusion i was tryin to hurry an go pull the old turbos off needless to say ive went threw 5 turbos in the past 7 months. as for everyones comments. Yes i do prime them. Yes i put at least 500 miles on them before i ever really get on it. most of the time im hooked to a trailer. My oil pressure is good tht is the first thing we checked when the first 66 blew! they ether lock up or they blow the guts out im not so sure as to how he is runnin truck 247 but im pretty sure its a easy life

if there locking up sounds to me like there not getting any oil ...or your shutting them down way to fast

wow there is definatly something wrong either you need to check your oil lines or stop barking them.

yes 5 turbos in seven months. i jus found another 66mm cheap im goin gto run it as a top charger and jus baby it convert it over to a ton and work it to death i already have a trailer behind it 247
