hey, buddy of mine just bouht a 98 12v. the PO says the truck has been turned up, and it smokes some, but it doesnt have the power we think it should, PO also said he removed fuel plate completely and did something else, however, it doesnt smoke much still and has almost no power.

What id like to know, is how to get into that pump and turn it up correctly to gain noticeable power. It already has gauges.

mod the afc and some gov springs

 

what does it boost it? Is it running a boost elbow or is the wg crimped off? How easily does it start in the morning? Does it have any intake or exhaust work?

 

what are your gauges reading? are you making any boost at all?

if not look at one of the four intercooler boots. they get worn and torn. and alot of times its on the passanger front.

let us know what your gauges are saying please. and if the fuel plate is out and has exhaust BHAF ect if should be noticable power
