Default Boost?

OK i used the search function and cannot find anything... I got tired of looking and so i figured i would ask. I have a 94 5speed with 5inch exhaust, custom plate, custom air filter set up. I still have the ole' Wh1c turbo and was wondering what you guys thought was to much boost. I know on the hx35 its 32-35 for longevity. Is the Wh1c any different?

it will befine to run it up to 35-40 but it is just going to be pumping hot air in your engine

your drive pressure will depend on your wastegate and exhaust housing size. You will need to plumb a guage into your exhaust manifold to check and tune your drive pressure.

The goal is to get 1psi of boost for 1psi of drive.

drive pressure is the pressure comming out of the exhaust manifold that drives the turbine wheel. if your drive pressure is too high it works just like an exhaust brake
