i've heard of crazyer ideas but it could work if it would all fit under the hood

yes tripple turbos have already been done, by a good amout of people.

They've made bigger chargers than 40s fit in there.

yup, S300s.

do the 40s commonly break shafts? i must have missed something somewhere. what other forums are good to look on for a turbo?

yeah, they dont like to be barked. the bigger wheel on the little shaft just cant take it.
