Heck i can't even keep a stock holset HX35 on my truck they all explode.....4 down looking for the nexted one to blow....the problem with the conterfiet turbo is when they let go they send parts everywhere...like i said BOOOOOOOOOOM

thats the funny part, a guy i know that lives a few miles away blew 2 holset turbos. then he bought the cheapos off ebay and has had it over a year and beats the hell out of it with no shaft play and it still runs strong. but i agreee with you about when they let go

i guess it just depends on truck mods and things like that....i got a buddy that got 2 of those counterfiet 40's both of them exploded and sent compressor parts all the way to the valves....never had a real holset do that

yeah i understand that. thats why my buddy welded in a steel screens in his. ic piping in two different spots. kinda restrics airflow a little bit, but know matter what turbo he has now, hopefully them two screens and the intercooler will catch any parts before the motor.

that might help...the only other concern should be the oil drain tube i doubt anything would gt in there...not much inside....I guess it is good luck from there
