Default How much hp/mpg will I gain by getting a dual elec. fan setup?

My fan-clutch is blown on my truck (fan stays on all the time), so instead of repairing that I would like to go the route of dual electric fans. How much hp and mpg can I expect to gain by going this route? It's going to cost money and time to make this change and I want to be sure it's worth it.

Thanks all
Matt

it takes 15hp to turn the clutch fan and mph is all up to how heavy your foot is

theres my writeup for a 1st gen (same install applies for anything) use 1 taurus fan it explains why in the thread.

i noticed no horsepower gain by feel of the seat at least and not much mpg difference, but i got alot better throttle response, faster warm up temps, and steadier temp control when needed

15hp eh? Thats a decent amount. I've heard looking thru the forums that 2nd genners see about 2mpg or so w/ the elec fan setup.

You'll probably gain as much from fixing your fan clutch as you would by going to electric fans. But taurus fans are cheap.

i can tell you guys honestly that with a cummins, 2 taurus fans are COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. i tow and get on it hard and it doesnt ever go above 180. only on a hot day sitting it traffic will it climb, and the 1 fan brings it back ck down so quick theres no need for two of them. not to mention you wont be able to make two of them fit. trust me i tried. the radiators are only 31" wide and the fans are 17" fans

Really 1 taurus fan was good enough? Somebody told me that they are ok for putting around, but he said that once you start towing taurus fans will overheat very quickly
