for that power goal I think the best way would be to have it benched by a pump shop. 500cc of fuel will get you where you want to be and then some.

DD for the most part, and pulling, the engine is going in a 79 ford project i got going on right now. i plan on twins, a big stick cam, the engine is already studded up top, but i'm taking it apart to give it a rebuild, so i'm gonna stud and girdle the bottom end. just trying to come to terms with what injectors to get and if i should get plungers and barrels for it.(i.e. 13 mm or 14mm) for now i have a set of 4k gov springs, gonna chuck in a set of 60lb valve springs.

honestly it is not going to be a very fun truck to drive on the street. The chargers are going to be on the big side to get 800 on fuel. Now 800 on the bottle would be a better choice IMO for a street truck, 600 -650 on fuel would be a heck of a fun truck to drive on the street.

Oh and there is no need for a 13mm pump to hit 800. A good 12mm will do 1000+ on the bottle

i have a major fear of drugs on the truck...blew up a few engines already on the stuff, so i'm a little hesitant to go that rout. i do know the truck is gonna suck to drive on the street...
