dont buy the ebay turbo those are absolute garbage. it may be cheap now but it can end up costing you thousands in repair costs when it grenades.
just because its a t3 flange doesnt mean itll work 100%. will it bolt right up to the exhaust manifold, yes, but thats not all thats needed. a new downpipe is 100% REQUIRED its not an adapter or anything thatll make it work. the hx40 is larger (longer), thus moving the downpipe. and not to mention its a 4" downpipe which your 35 doesnt use. and you will have to purchase an hx40 band clamp seperately with your downpipe.
also your oil drain will not clear the wastegate actuator IIRC.
so all in all, if you have 300 dollars to spend, put a replacement 35 on it and go by the weekend. thats a piece of crap hx40, waste of money, plus add another 150 for downpipe and clamp (thats a good deal for those too) and your almost 500 dollars in on a piece of junk turbo.
not to mention with the mods your running, youll struggle to spool an hx40 IMO.
get a factory replacement until you have money for a QUALITY turbo. you get what you pay for

I'm literally seeing hx35 turbos going for as much or MORE than the hx40. I'm not buying the 40 for LONG term so to speak, but I've read they are good for a 30-40hp boost over stock turbo and I've read on other diesel forums that people have gone 80k miles towing and racing and they still have zero shaft play in their ebay hx40's. The new ebay hx40 comes with it's own wg.. so how would the oil drain not clear?
As far as spooling the 40, with my 215 pump and #100 fuel plate, my afc and starwheel tuned, I'm pretty certain I wont have an issue spooling.
As far as the DP, I can run DP-less for a week or so right? Just long enough to make the trip and come back?
Not being an *** here fyi, just freaking out and NEED this thing fixed in the next 4-5 days :kills myself:

Is our stock hx35 a t3T3 Divided Entry Exhaust Inlet or undivided?

it is divided.
i dont want to be an *** at all either, but come on man just listen. i just gave you 5 different reasons why it is a stupid purchase. as well as other people have said not to buy them as well. especially if your only running it temporarily. why spend 500 dollars on a junk temporary setup that you wont even be able to resell because you have a junk chinese knock off. spend 300-350 bucks on an hx35 that you can resell later and make your money back and be done with it.
also, as for how does the wastegate not clear the oil drain. just because it comes with its own wastegate that has nothing at all to do with how your factory pipe bends. they are a different bend and will hit. ask me how i know
