I ran 3 screws in my ol' 97 for almost 3 years with no leaks or problems. I have a quick way of knocking the tamper-proof bolt loose, and I put it in my pocket with the intentions of using it as a guide to go pick up 4 new matching bolts, but forgot about it and it never became an issue, so it stayed that way.
