Are those huge wix filters reusable couldnt find anything about it on website #2790

yea but do they work better than one that you can recharge when ever thats wat i have now but i was reading that those go bad after time too and the big paper one is better.

Ya the rechargeable ones generally have oil in them which= very bad for our turbo trucks

for turbo vehicle paper filter = good .. oiled filter = bad imo

Get with the times guys - there are a number of non oiled washable filters on the market now...



If you get a good oiled filter - theres nothing wrong with it either. As long as its serviced properly (and not a K&N - just a personal preference)...many guys with compound turbos moving a TON of air have no problems with their oiled filters.

I used to build stock/competition turbochargers for a living. DO NOT use a cotton filter unless you like paying for your turbo to be fixed. I could tell stories for miles about how many turbos I've had to repair due to a cotton filter being sucked into the turbo, or the trash that got through the filter and into the turbo. Be smart, use a paper filter.
