Hey guys, i got an AFE Pro dry filter, After a few months of having an exhaust leak that i finally took care of, my filter is black and i can't seem to get it clean with soap and water, wanted to know if you all knew anything i could use to clean it that wouldn't hurt the filter! Thanks!

 

Simple green - soak it and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.

Hose from the clean side out until the water runs clear.

 

can you get simple green anywhere?

 

yes........go over to your local hardware store or anywhere that sells household cleaning supplies ie: grocery store

 

would that get out the set in soot?

 

has for me.
