If you are planning on doing the 13-1.25 Con OFE kit, then just save the extra cash and go for the dual disc. Its not much more at all. You will get a lighter than stock pedal, super smooth engagement, and is much better for feathering while backing. We just installed a dual disc in an 07 with stock exhaust and you can't hear the clutch over the truck. Leaps and bounds ahead of where dual discs were 2 years ago. Also, unless you plan to be very rough on it, or push the clutch to its limit I think you will be fine with your stock input shaft.

As always, we recommend and install South Bend.
