hey everyone, i found a v10 magnum dually dodge ram and im wondering if i can use the whole front axle of the magnum to swap it into my brother's 97 cummins with a 12v. the transmission is also there (automatic) but has the t-case, and i heard somewhere that the transfercase will readily bolt up to the nv4500 i have in the truck.

Hoping to get a quick answer as im heading there back tomorrow to get the parts, thanks!

 

You can swap the axle and everything in but if the tcase is from an auto and you want to put it on a manual you will need to swap the input shaft.

 

thanks for the prompt reply man, today we got to the pick and pull and somebody had already beaten us to the punch! i guess this is a sign that i should do more research until i find the next one, .
