Which turbo for 600hp daily driver
I also think the twins will be best especially for a daily driver. The 64 would be a fun single but be a bit laggy to daily drive and towing you might get a little heat issue trying to spool it up with a big load especially with some 5x.016's.
Cool...It looks like it's gonna be the compound kit then. I was poking around Peak's site since Wyatt mentioned him and the BD kit looks like it keeps the heat exchanger in the stock location.....The Source kit is the cheapest but only cause I use the stock HX35, The PDR kit uses an HX35 but upgrades to a 14cm housing.....or I can get an HX40/HT3b kit for the same price from PDR......regardless it's going to be a while until I can go with the twins or if I can sell the Duster then I can do it sooner.....but this give me time to save up for them and I think it will make a better DD combo.
Yeah....but one thing I didn't mention is if I sell the 62 I can pay some bills down/off and get on some more solid ground and then do the twins a little later. I am making a little off the sale of the 62.
I will be doing that. It's going to be a while though but I like to have a game plan. I learned from building my Duster that you spend a lot more money if you don't have a plan than if you think things out and build it slow. When i am ready I'll be getting some quotes from sponsors and start a build thread.
for daily driving, the occasional pull, and around 600, i would use twins for sure. a charger to support 600, with out alot of heat problems will be laggy when pulling. good luck with the search for the right set up
