i didnt realize you had stock bolts dont run any meth with this since you bumped your timing up more fuel + 50psi + methanol + advanced timing = KABLEWY

keep straight water in it itll run cool and keep the headgasket happier

low timing will cause a smoke color change just because its smoking grey dont mean its burning water and no black is not raw fuel white is raw fuel you ever crank your engine in the winter for awhile to get it started because it wont build enough heat? take notice to the color of the smoke coming out the exhaust? white and that aint fog its fuel stand in that for awhile and you eyes and head will be killing you

i'm gonna agree one more time with tater, white=raw unburnt fuel!!the reason the timing effects the color is because timing=pump timing(when the pump fires in relation to where the piston is in the cylinder.just as an example, let's say thr fuel isn'tin the cylinder,it's late gettin there and the piston is already half way done with it's compression stroke it's not gonna fully combust resulting in unburnt fuel,or white smoke.

well once i get my head studded and o-ringed, i will play with timing a little more. truck did do a 14.1 in the quarter in 2wd. no 4x4 launches on a stock output shaft.

thanks guys

never run straight water. it will cause corrosion. its hard to explain exactly how it happens but you need the elasticity of the anti freeze

i think they were refering to the water and methanol injection, not coolant
