Ya I should get some, but the thing doesn't even smoke other then just off the start, can't be running to hot on the pyro, and if there was no boost then it would smoke. Can definately hear the turbo more sine the restricted nipple. I think the tranny sucks the most. Thanks guys.

Yup its slid all the way ahead and the starwheel is all the way ahead. Little puff on first hard throttle, thats it. Pulling hill or lugging no smoke. But when under hard throttle it don't shift gears well, so I say trans sucks. My guess. Thanks again, I will stick with what I have I guess till the trans *****. Then I fix it better.

Just to make sure get some gauges first. Get an EGT boost and a FP just to make sure your LP isnt crap There are ways to tell if your trans isnt holding.

no no no, no need for a fp gauge for a 12v he would need a tranny gauge more along with boost and pyro

You likely need to do a gov. arm adjustment. When I put in a 11 plate, there was no difference in performance because the gov arm was going under the plate. Very common with 11's. Directions: PDR Diesel Inc. The turbo diesel performance specialists! - Lever Adj
Be sure not to over loosen the back nut and don't drop anything into the pump! This made all the difference in mine, but there are still egt problems at my altitude with only the 11 plate. So as said, spend a few dollars on gauges and save thousands on major problems.

Very true you dont need one mostly because the p7100 is lubed by oil. However they do go out and when the go out they give off symptoms not unlike he is having.

youd be much better off with a tranny temp. if anything for the third gauge.
