#11 fuel plate
I have a 96 cummins. I just installed a 11 plate, afc all the way ahead, plate stock setting, afc all the way ahead. And kit came with restricted waste fitting. I really don't see much difference from stock. I have a stock trans also, but can I have more, or would I be pushing the trans? Move the 11 plate a little forward? Help, thanks

auto tranny? i have the same and a guy told me i could go a #6 just watch your gauges
|
one of these days if you r messin around with it, take the plate completely out and see how you like that..if not i would shove that plate all the way forward f i was you. you should see a differance
|
yeah but running it without can cause some serious promblems
|
i have a 96' w/ a #100 fuel plate all the way forward and my starwheel fully forward and my stock tranny is starting to give out after just 2 weeks.

yeah thats a bit you're pushing but im sure you could go get it worked on a bit to handle it

5 speed or Auto? The #11 is my favorite plate for a mild truck. At least in a 215 pump. You should be noticing a deference. What's your boost pressure? |
No gauges, just running the plate for mods and a 4 inch exhaust. Plate came with restricted waste gate fitting. Thats all, stock tranny, stock plate location.

I would guess your trans isnt holding it. However without a gauge for boost it could just be a boost leak. |
