Default 400hp?

im looking to get my truck to about 400 hp so hopefully i can take down these duramax's around here. i have a 94 12v 5 speed 4x4 200k miles w/ a sb 450 hp clutch, no plate, 4gsk, starwheel turned a bit, ic boots, afe intake, 4in straight exhaust. i assume im about 300 hp but im not sure. its just a dd that i race when a harda$$ pulls next to me. i thought about injectors but when i race i can hit 1100 degrees by the end of the race so im not sure this should be my first upgrade. i was thinkin about studs and headgasket then gettin some injectors. what do u guys think? also what size injectors do u guys think i should get for 400 hp?

370s are 5 on .012 and are pretty cheap they will support good numbers but beware they get hot i would suggest probably doing a new gasket and headstuds then going to a larger turbo. i have 370s in my truck and when im feeling froggy they will lay some heavy smoke with the stock turbo i pinned my 1600* gauge about a month and a half ago with them also

get a turbo and some GOOD sticks, the 370's make decent power but like stated above they get hot fast and the reason being is the spray pattern is not right for the bowl of the pistons. If ya get a good turbo 64 or 66/14 you should be good to go then do the headstuds and everything while your in there and you should be to 400 no problem

A good set of sticks and pump tuning will get you there easy.

I would stay away from 370s myself. You can find some sticks with the correct spray pattern for just a little bit more.

the 16 cm housing should still fit the wh1c. As mush as I'm not a fan 370's are an option. they are not the correct spray angle, they run dirty, and hot but they are cheep. IMO I would save up the money for a good set of injectors.
