Uh, no a #10 is LOTs of fuel and could do some damage...get a pyro in there and watch your tranny beg for mercy.

on a 94 the #10 plate is not that big. the #6 plate is the biggest plate you can go with on a stock trans. cummins recommends not to exceed 1250*. you can go higher than that for short bursts. it takes sometime for things to get hot before they start to melt.

It might melt at 1400 but i think that is 1400 all the way around the object, been hot a few times in short bursts. Hurry up bow2 so you can do some smoke.

i bought the #10 a few months ago now. but i was thinking a #10 was one of the lowest plates???

i didn't know if all diesel had the same exhaust temp? or if 12 valve cummins had their own heat range. so i wasn't sure if i should put it in "General" or in the 12 valve section?
