Bigger Injectors and a lopeing engine at idle means not enough fuel....., If you still have the .181 dvs on a 215 pump itll lope with big injectors, depends on timing and injector angle etc..., the right timing and injector angle you wont have ne lope with .181 dvs with up to 5x.16s or so, i nvr could fully take my lope away regardless of where i set my timing with my 5x.18s then put .191 dvs in and lope went away put bigger lines on and it came back so put lasers in and fuel pressure to fuel flow is just right...

Mine loped just before it puked the lift pump... fixed that then the VE went. But oh yeah... it loped before that pump died too!! I'd rather just have it not lope and go like a scalded cat when I hit the GO pedal!!

My buddy has a Scheid Lightning pump on his 99. It lopes when warmed up... But it sounds more like a really rough stuttering idle. I for one am not a fan of it.... If it's going to lope, it needs to be a nice slow lope like this:

That's Garret Sheild's woman, LeRae. That truck moves.

So what is the lope actually caused by? I know in the gassers it's the inefficient grind of the cam shaft at that particular rpm creating a low cylinder fill and miss firers.
