starwheel adjustment
#11
There's plenty of other things to do inside the pump besides turning the starwheel up for more "smoke", as well as power. Grind/slide the plate (which it looks like you've done), adjust the AFC lever for proper travel, grind the AFC foot/barrel, depending on what pump you have (160?), the 2095 mack plug.
If all you're looking for is smoke, plastic sacks over air filters work wonders.

Im new here to the forums and have been reading up and researching quite a bit and now firmly believe a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. From what ive learned from yall off here i adjusted my fuel plate forward turned starwheel towards engine 25 clicks and ran it a week or so before returning to stock positions best i could now im left with what seems to be a common problem with newbies my truck lugs down preboost then takes off once boost kicks in any suggestions? And thanks in advance also any advice on timing advancement pros cons?
