Opinions On A Muffler
well guys it sounds sweet, but it dont fit, too big around.
it hits the floor of the cab and it wont hook up. so i need a smaller one. anyone got payment plans for a hushpower,
yea ok. i will eventually get one, for now i have the factory resonator with a 3-4 adapter on front which is quite restrictive but i hacked my last setup to try to get the mega flow to fit.
thanks guys

if you're looking for something cheap for just a little bit of sound deadening, I liked the Summit Racing 4" straight through, 5" OD x 30 overall length. PN SUM-630100 at Summit Racing - High Performance Car and Truck Parts | 800-230-3030, 49.95 plus $10 shipping. had that on my '96 with a full 4" exhaust, the 4" straight piped was a bit too loud for the amount of time I spent on the freeway.
for some reason it's listed as a 'ford s/d replacement muffler' but it's the same one they have in all their summit brand diesel exhaust systems.

well i am straight-piped again
. i was only getting 7 mpg with the above set up and it had excessive blow by which also made my valve covers leak
. too much back pressure.
thanks for the help guys, the neighbors will have to get over my loud truck.
