Sounds like youre turning up an old Internation IDI to me... not a P7100 12v..

Default Turning up a p7100 fuel pump

Wow... That's all I have to say.
Yea that allen head trick isn't gonna work on a ppump.
This is where the search function comes in real handy.

Racking the barrels is a common practice, however for around 300$ -400$ you can send your pump out and have it maxed and balanced ... Add 4k's and its more fuel then most anyone will need ..... Most places won't help you if the only reason you want a high performance pump is to "roll coal".... I would rather make power and keep the smoke to a minimum... My pump max will flow 650cc's , with 5x14's it'll over fuel a 62/475 with the pump at 400cc's

I'd like to know what that 1/4 turn adjustment on the FRONT of the AFC does?... to me, from what I see in cutaways, perhaps it raises or lowers the AFC arm???

Thats what it does, I played with it and really no gains were had from it.

I guess it would be a way to fine tune it without having to unbolt the AFC housing

only time you really need to move it is if the gov arm is not making contact with the foot.

Yeah, but since it's cut on an angle, lowering it would make it contact a bit later

Anyhow, it's good to know what it actually does
