Default cylinder head

I blew my head gasket again. Took it in to the machine shop and they found 6 cracks in it so I'm going to be buying a new head. I was wondering if anybody has tried this head from Pure Diesel Power.

I have that head sitting in my garage right now waiting for a chance to put it on. So, obviously I don't have any miles on it, but the head seems to be of good quality and the guys at PDP were great to deal with.

How long did it take you to get it ? I plan on ordering it Tuesday soon as the Holiday is over.

Dave, you might want to check the valves on that new head before you put it on . I bought that exact some one from PDP and took it to the machine shop like they . Everything checked out good with the exception of the valves. 9 of the 12 leak. they could only get 3 of them to seal. So now I am doing a valve job on a new head.

Sorry I missed your last post, thanks for the heads up on the valves, things look good on the surface, but I definitely think I'll take it to get looked at. I was thinking about having it port and polished before I put it in too, so that'll make a good excuse while I have it at the shop.

With your head on it's side. Intake side up. Spray WD40 through the intake at the valves and see if any runs out. That is the way they showed me at the machine shop. The WD ran right through. They also said that it was made in China. They saw another one that had a cracked injector port. They told me that the guy put it on and couldn't get one of the injector to seal. Took it back off and found the crack.
