Sounds like you've already got it fixed with the bigger charger, but you could drill out the wastegate hole in the hx-35 to allow more air to get out, along with drilling the exhaust housing divider so that both 1-2-3 and 4-5-6 exhaust pulses can get out the wastegate instead of driving the turbo.
