I. Bought this truck in october with a fuel knock and gambled because it was cheap and only drove it a week and no. 1 piston came apart thesame day the new stock injectors went in.

Run a relatively inexpensive oil in it for break in as it's only in there long enough to drain and inspect for signs of anything abnormal. I've heard of guys needing to add zinc for cam break in. Can't see where it couldn't be used for whole engine break in; avoid additives like STP and Lucas for atleast the first service interval. Initial fire the engine should be ran at no load at an elevated rpm for 30 mins or longer. I'd recommend a retorque of the head after initial warm up. Put some miles on it driving conservatively, then drive it like you want it to run. I'd refrain from using the programmer for awhile. hard to really say what is the correct break in proceedure. Alot of it is heresay, but that is just what I would do if this were my truck.

Thank you for help with breakin persidure so esentually like a gasser but retorque the studs.i used to run rottela just for the zink for the lobes but again that was a gasser. I ask about the tuner because on the size of the injectors Im just worried about the timing during breakin dont wanna wash out a hole prematurly because of it.ill check the dog out.

Airdog is a much better bet then a raptor. More filtration is a must in my mind. Secondly rotella is a good oil for diesels aswell. Depending on where you got your injectors, if they pressure tested them and all and sent you a flow chart, you should be okay. Your best bet is give whoever you bought them from a call and ask them.

Itll take a bit to get 700. I can tell you now my opinion is there is no way that pump will feed those injectors what they need. Second recommendation while there out, I would get them pressure tested to make sure there what they say they are. Lastly, I would look at some other supporting mods before you go and try breaking big numbers. Just my .02
